Spent most of her life alone. She got lost when she was a puppy. His meeting with Anthem was timely, when was seriously wounded in a fight and he offered help. They spent more time together after that.

The wind was stirring my fur, the light through the clouds hurt my eyes, but I could only pay attention to the terrible pain that was taking over my body. My adversaries seemed more than willing to kill me.
I had been arrogant and careless, trying to steal food from others was possibly the worst offense I could commit. But I was so desperate. The smallest prey was scarce and I was too weak and inexperienced to be able to face caribou or elk, so when I realized that they were carrying the remains of a deer, I did not think much about it.
The pain was horrible and my fear great, but if I did not get the food, my chances of survival were nil. I preferred to die trying.
Stood up as best I could, grunting fiercely at my enemies, who returned the gesture, ready to shed blood.
Except that never happened, because a third individual interposed.
I would not describe it exactly as intimidating, that wolf didnt seem taller than me. But he had a penetrating gaze. Without saying a word, everyone understood: The battle was over. The wolves took their loot and retreated. I also walked away, knowing I was defeated.
I hid in a cave about 4 miles away. Resting and waiting to fall asleep, my eyes remained fixed on the outside without observing anything in particular, but there was. The same wolf with piercing blue eyes, he had been following me. But it did not matter anymore, so I didnt interrupt my longing to sleep.
I was surprised to wake up again, now with that wolf huddled by my side, and a few rabbits piled at the bottom of the cave.

I was lying on the grass, enjoying the tranquility and sounds of the insects that always roamed at night. Contemplating the dark night sky, there was no moon to give its gentle light to the creatures of the forest. But with it, the stars became more visible and beautiful than the giant white sphere could ever.
"Hey" Say someone behind, it didnt startle me because I already knew who he was.
Well, maybe saying that I knew who, was a lot. I met this male only a few months ago and he never left. It did not bother me in reality.
"I know this may seem weird, or rude, but I'd like to know-" He began, bending his ears a little. "What is your name?"
In fact, it was a good question.
I did not know what to say. I had been alone almost from the beginning, so never really thought about that question.
"I ..." I was strangely embarrassed "I don't know, I don't remember."
He looked at me for a moment, dissuading if it was a joke. When he noticed that it was not like that, he enlarged his eyes a little, but say nothing, we both contemplated the sky in silence.

He stirred a little in his place. "Well, yes, but they were just... nicknames, I did not know your name, and it was embarasing to ask." He admitted.
"I propose you something. I don't like my own name very much, so we could name each other. What do you say? "I was tempted to ask what his name was, but decided it was better not to, and nodded.
"Cool! Let me see ..." A moment passed, he seemed very focused. "Aha!" He ran to a small set of flowers that I had not even noticed, they were lilac coloured. "Do you like these?" I nodded again, "You see, I traveled for a while with a family of bears, the youngest of them liked plants. He used to spy on a rare human group, and he always came back with the things he had learned. These that are here- " Lowered his nose to the flowers. "He called them: Heather, Ling, and Calluna." He smiled at me. "Calluna." It sounded wonderful, and I didn't know why.
Out of the corner of my eye I noticed small white spots, which turned out to be more flowers. "What are called these?" I asked. He observed them for a while with a confused look. "I'm not sure... I swear I've seen them. What was it like? Asteroid? Anadem?" Something seemed to light up on his face, the name also seemed familiar to me. "Anthemis!" We said at the same time, releasing a knowing smile almost immediately.
"Well. It's a pleasure to meet you, Anthem."
