Biography Talon had been alone as long as he could remember. On a particularly warm morning he had decided to explore a little and catch some prey. Talon sauntered throughout the forest when suddenly something ran into him. He looked down to discover a female wolf. She had beautiful brown eyes, with a tan coat and gray markings on her legs and under her muzzle. The she-wolf apologized frantically causing Talon to laugh. "Calm down," He told her,"You didn't do anything wrong. I'm Talon. Who are you?" She looked at him with a startled look before replying. "I-I'm Maka." Talon can't help but smile at her nervousness. "Well, It's very nice to meet you Maka. Would you like to travel with me?" Maka's tail wags slightly. "Yes, please!"
Shortly after the pair fell in love and had a couple litters. Now the pair had gained many friends; Bly, Midnight, Nova, Nightpelt and many others. Talon returned from a patrol with prey. He drops it off with the other food and returns to his den. Maka sits waiting for him and smiles once she sees him. Talon lays down next to his mate. Maka lays her head on his for-paws and Talon twines his tail with hers causing Maka to smile. Talon looks out at the clearing watching pups play, Trainees laugh, and Explores, Omegas, and the betas eat their fills. He can't help but feel pride swell in his chest. This was their pack. They belonged here with those in the pack. Talon looks over each individual wolf imagining what they could do. He can't wait to see the future of the pack.
Many years later:
Talon awoke to a gentle nudge to his side. He grumbled and slowly opened his eyes, expecting to see his beloved mate. In stead he saw Little Fang, the pack's healer. Little Fang's eyes held intense sorrow. He spoke slowly, as if the strong male he was talking to would shatter. "Talon, I don't know how to tell you this." He trailed off causing Talon to grow worried. "What? What is it Little Fang?" The smaller male hesitated. "Last night, Maka passed along with her unborn litter." Talon's eyes widened as tears crept to the corners. "What? What do you mean? She couldn't possibly be gone?" Little Fang held his head low. "I'm sorry. I didn't see it coming. She's laid in the memorial grounds. You can go visit her one last time." Talon stood quickly, making his way to the memorial grounds. It had never been used before in their new pack location. As he arrived he discovered a few wolves sitting, the heads held low. Among the wolves were the bonded pair's last two offspring. The young male with a similar pelt to his mother looked up as his father slowed to a stop. "Why, dad? Why did she have to leave us?" Talon gently nudged his two sons. They had only the fall and winter with their mother, explaining how hard they were taking it. "I'm sorry boys. We had no control over this. Our spirit ancestors decided it was time for her to join them, along with her litter. She will run with them for eternity now. We must not forget her and the good she has done for the pack." The three wolves stared in sorrow at the disturbed ground. The sat for hours after the pack had left. Eventually Talon stood up. "I always loved you." He mumbled, speaking his words to his gone mate. "I promise to raise the pack well in your absence. I will raise our sons to be the best wolves that I can. I will go fetch you some roses." He turned sharply, his sons following him. His sorrow had turned to determination and anger. He planned to find a few wolverines, defeat them and take there flowers. He needed an outlet for his jumbled emotions so he could return to leading his pack, in his mate's absence.
