Biography It was that time of year. All around, snow covered the landscape. The sun reached down and touched its surface, sending beautiful sparkles in every direction. The beauty of it all was simply captivating. Winters Light gazed at the beautiful scenery, her dark blue eyes beginning to water from the sting of the winter wind. Her nose was cold, but she was fine with that. Winter was the very best season there was.
She arose from her sitting position and glanced behind her at the trees of the lonely forest. Snowflakes were beginning to fall and the bare branches of the oak trees had piles upon piles of snow hanging from them. Again, she looked in front of her. Something about the perfect, untouched snow on the horizon made her feet and legs ache to run. To play, even though she was a little old to do so; she wasn't a pup anymore. But... no one was around, so who could tell her no?
She raced off, towards the beautiful sparkles that lay ahead. She ran and she ran, going ever faster. The cold air filled her lungs and made them burn, but still she ran. She made it. Then, she dashed around in circles, digging and burying herself in the cold powder. She rolled around on her back and jumped to her feet, her eyes closed to enjoy the moment. When she opened her eyes, she realized she couldn't see. Oh no! she thought, realization hitting her.
Her glasses were gone! While she played in the snow, she had completely forgotten to be careful, in fear of losing them. Anger burned in her pelt, followed by worry. She looked around at the snow she had churned up all around her. There was so much! She would never find her glasses in this mess! Her chest filled with anxiety as she despondently began searching. She couldn't see anything at all hardly, so she felt with her paws. The more she searched, the more she worried. By using her paws, she was only churning up MORE of the glittering snow.
Finally, her paws struck something cold and hard. Her glasses! She grabbed the object up, only to find that it was a stone! She let out a frustrated howl, then continued looking. She came across several more stones and she let out several more frustrated and hopeless howls. She would never be able to see anything again! How would she hunt? How would she see any danger lurking? Continuing with her search, she came across another cold object. She dejectedly picked it up.
Wait! Could it be? Yes! Her glasses! This time it was really them! She quickly and eagerly put them on her face and howled with joy. "Yes!" She then raced back to the forest. From now on, she would be more careful. She would never lose them again. Hopefully....
