Wrathful voices burned through her auditories as she cowered, shocked and stunned and greatly appalled, as the wolves of her pack descended upon her little by little.
"I didn't do it!" Spotted Shadow pleaded, her normally husky voice taking on a high-pitched note. "Please, I didn't kill him!"
"Lier!" gnarred black femora. Her mother.
"Please!" Spotted Shadow begged.
"Leave now, unworthy wolf drenched in sins!" Her mother hissed. "You have betrayed the Laws of the Packs by committing lustful crimes! You've had plenty of children against the will of the Great Ancestors, and now you have committed murder!"
"Mother, listen to me!" Spotted Shadow continued despite her heart knowing exactly what was to become of her. "I may have broken the Laws in terms of having progeny, but I could never murder anyone, let alone my own father!"
"Nonsense and lies!" her mother snapped, her black fur bristling with undying rage, her jowls peeled back to reveal dangerous fangs. "Leave now, Spotted Shadow! You are no longer one of us, but a traitor! You are no longer my daughter!"
Spotted Shadow jerked into wakefulness with a sharp gasp that echoed throughout the cavern. Her heterochromatic green-brown gaze dashed about the rather large cave she had slept in as her mind began to realize that she had just had a dream. A nightmare.
No, not a nightmare. A memory relived.
Spotted Shadow rested her cranium back between her front mitts as she released a glum sigh. Her thrashing had not woken any of her pack, a pack that had accepted her, oblivious to what she had done. Though they may never be affected by her horrid life, she would forever be haunted by how she had been banished by the place she had once called home for doing something she had not.

Spotted Shadow is a closed-off wolf who tends not to speak about anything, especially regarding her horrible life. Because she had ruined her own life by neglecting the Laws of the Packs, she tends to firmly scold those who have done what she had in an effort to prevent what had happened to her from occurring once again, almost to the point where her punishment is considered violent. But, if one were to know her well, they'd see she is a very caring and protective wolf, always ready to sacrifice her happiness, and even her life, to make her loved ones safe.

Spotted Shadow, being anti-social and very introverted, tends to stick to the ones she knows well, including her son, Humble Snow, who knows not she is his mother.
