I had awaken to dark endless void all I remember is flames.

Fire was everywhere and a pack standing gloriously in the center of it. The fire not touching them. They howled in unison before dashing away but I didn’t stay awake for that.

I jolted awake panting.

“Hey take it easy there we aren’t going to hurt you we are just here to help you” A wolf with black fur ochre tips here and there spoke with a voice smooth and calming as I lay back down.

“What happened to my father” I mutter incoherently that he had to tilt his head.

“What was that child” He asked worry shone in his eyes.

“Nothing. Who are you exactly” I ask genuinely curious.

“I am Lance the leader of the Alduins and you are” He asked back.

“I am Angel the child of the late Zanth of the late pack Pine Crest” He nods with a warming smile.

“Wanna join Alduin” he asks after a minute of silence.

I think I am just bad luck to be honest I mean my homeland was burned down and I have nothing to live for but why am I still alive without burn marks. Unknowing Of my power I was accepted into the pack of Alduin.
