Hello there, I am Aran, the alpha female of the Star Runner Pack. Come, make yourself comfortable. Would you like a drink? We have a beautiful stream just outside our camp. Nice and cool, isn't it? Now that you're settled, allow me to introduce myself and my pack. Yes, I can tell that's why you're here; you seem very curious. Considering pack life, maybe? Well let me warn you, every pack is different. What you see here is not what you will get in most other packs, and that's the beauty of pack life.
All right, about me: I was born a lone wolf, but after meeting Faolan many seasons ago, we became mates and started talking about forming a pack. We didn't have pups for a while, though, so to start us off we took in a young pup, Mala, who today is our beta female. Shortly after that we had our first and only pup, a male named Lor. As of now, he is the beta male, and I couldn't be more proud of him.
Soon we took in Sayi, then she and Mala each took a mate and had pups, and just like that we had our pack. We're proud to have three generations living in the pack now. As time went on, more wolves came, seeking a friendly pack.
But life isn't always easy. Our first attempt at a pack nearly failed after a fire ravaged our old camp, back when Lor, Mala, and Sayi were young and the only other members of the pack. We were scattered, but after many adventures, we soon came back together, and decided to make a fresh start. What you see now is our newer camp; it's not quite as perfect as our old one, but it's the best we can find. We pride ourselves on being survivors: tough, strong, brave, and determined, yet caring and compassionate with every wolf we meet. We care for every wolf, packmate or not, weak or strong.
If you have to sum up our pack personality, it's diverse and varied, We have our serious wolves, the fun-loving wolves, and even strange wolves, and they all celebrate their differences. The most distinctive trait, though, is the determination that burns through all of us. You will meet the others in just a moment and see what I mean.
Now, I have given you mine and the pack's story, but you haven't met the individuals. Stretch your legs, relax for a moment, then go and meet the others. They are eager to meet you, as they are with any newcomer. Yes, I know you're not staying, but we welcome visitors as well as permanent members.
I'll leave you with a word of wisdom: Compassion is NOT weakness. I've learned that the hard way.

Strong and fierce, Aran is a natural leader, yet a compassionate, motherly wolf. Well respected, her pack knows who's in charge. She cares for her wolves fiercely, and any enemy who has met her before knows to fear her.
