Biography
The snow white wolf groomed his mate affectionately. Her golden eyes were fixed on him. She had noticed that lately, he had been more aloof and cold towards the members of the pack. Something was bothering him, but right now he seemed determined to ignore it.
Presently, he stopped, and she could feel his ice blue eyes pierce her soul.
After what felt like hour, he finally spoke. "What if I'm not good enough?"
"What do you mean?"
"This... leading the pack, raising our pups," his gaze wandered toward her growing belly. "I don't know if I can do this."
Her heart cried out for him in that moment. "You are enough. You will do well, because you have been chosen. Only you can lead, and you will be a wonderful father."
"But just say--"
"Then you will have done your best, and that is all anyone can ask."
Her gaze met his, and icy eyes were melted in golden warmth.
