Biography
Artemis was born in a family pack. It was very small, and was led by her parents with the elder siblings helping out. Along with her denmates, she grew quickly with a love for exploration. At 1 year her family was preparing for the third litter, however, soon tragedy struck them. A group of young humans had found the den and their curiosity had led to the mistake of one of teenagers to trip and kill one of the pups.
Regina, Artemis's mother, was just returning from a hunting trip to find the nest that was kept secret even from the family, stained with the blood from the dead pup. Furious she attacked the person who made the mistake, killing him quickly. The two other witnesses fled and alerted a nearby town about the incident. Soon, humans approached the nest driven by fear. The eldest siblings and Regina's's mate were out looking for new territory during the whole affair, while the youngest stayed with their mother to help guard the nest. While a few humans perished, they had managed to immobilize all of the wolves and finished all but Artemis and her brother, Apollo. The two managed to flee in time, though Apollo did get a nasty gash through his side.
Later on, Apollo died of an infection, leaving Artemis with the task to kill the humans, the ones who forced the family apart. Artemis agreed and though she was alone for months, joined up with Rumple to realize the quest that had changed her life forever.

A quiet and cold female, Artemis can be ruthless, fiery and terrible all in the same hour.
She enjoys the freedom of doing as she pleases, though can be rather childish at times, as she is not too skilled yet in being an Alpha Female.
Artemis is far from evil. She is simply distraught, angered, and bitter over past mistakes on both her part and others. The she-wolf has always been sarcastic and rather full of energy, but later on she gained a talent for trying to manipulate others to gain things for herself. With the goal of surviving and living a better life to fulfill the promise she made to her brother, she cares only for wolfkind. Otherwise a hostility will greet them, perhaps a swipe, too.
Artemis prefers giving her enemies as quick of a death as possible. She wants them gone, but she is not entirely cruel. Especially since her greatest fear is dying a painful death that could last for days. She can care for others, though there is little room for that now that her head is filled with sorrow and the hope to fulfill a promise.
