Character Description

Biography

Neskaya felt her blue amulet pulse before the first blasts rang out. She sniffed the air and almost choked - Fire. It was the annual meeting of the elder Guardian Angels, and she was one of the guards on duties, well...more of a trainee; however her Scholar believed she was up for the job. It was her duty to protect and fight against the evil forces if the dared show their faces.

But at the current point in time, all Neskaya could do was stand in shock. She had been told a attack would be very, very unlikely. Even through all her training, it couldn't compare to what she was now witnessing. Half the council room was on fire, and wolves of all ranks were screaming orders and muffled sounds of pain. She tried squinting her eyes to see through the heavy smoke blinding the room - to hopefully spy a familiar face, but it was useless. A crash echoed and the sound of glass splinters hitting the ground was prominent the moment before the light went out. The chandelier - a once beautiful objest was now in broken pieces on the floor, but alas, she had more troubling things to deal with.

She shuffled forward, her eyes and ears alert for danger. Her white wings shifted as she jumped forward at the noise of a pup's cry. The little thing was scampering about, trying to get away from the chaos happening around them. She picked the golden pup up gingerly with her teeth, and turned around - looking for the entrance from memory.

She lunged forward, uncaring as she heard growls coming from either side, and shifts of evil black fur between foggy glimpses of smoke. Flames licked at her paws and tail as she ran, and a fireball clipped her ear as she narrowly made a hasty escape.

Neskaya shuddered to a stop as she left the burning building with the pup, dropping it on the safe, soft grass along with the other survivors that were waiting outside. She huffed and breathed in deeply, enjoying the clear air. She slowly turned and faced the council building once more and flared her wings, standing up strong. She knew what she had to do. She knew her job wasn't done yet, and she had to go back inside.

Courage filled her heart as she galloped forward, ignoring the yells for ber to stay back. Her soul shuddered with anticipation as she slipped back inside, to the chaos that awaited her. She smiled once as the flames circled around her; as she bared her fangs and gave a howl - summoning her rare Water abilities to join the fight. Neskaya's cobalt irises glinted with power as her Amulet pounded around her neck, before she flung herself into battle.
