His name means "Those who are about to die salute you" in Latin.

This fierce soldier has been really ambitious since he was a juvenile; he was determined to become no less than a Battle Wolf Legend like his famous grandparents - Agnes, Sol Invictus and Atrax Morgue - were.
He's smart, calculating, fearless and viciously competitive. Morituri firmly believes that his blood carries a warrior's blessing and he'd be a fool not to try and rise to fame himself. He adored his parents and wanted to make them proud; he spent all his time on perfecting his hunting and fighting skills and tactics.
Most of the time he's focused and disciplined but he's also trigger-happy; because he feels he's special, he gets easily offended and snaps when others don't show him the respect he thinks he deserves.
Morituri knows no humility and no compromise; he was born to become a War Leader and anyone who tries to argue that is better prepared to put up a nasty fight...
His dream finally came true; after years of careful planning, he assassinated Atrium Carceri, the best warrior of the pack - of course with the help of his mother, his siblings and a gang of rogue wolves. Morituri nearly died and will carry his scars forever but the deadly huntress was finally taken down. He took her bear skull cap, her metal claws and her spiked cuffs and claimed her place in the Elite.
He's treated with suspicion and even with disdain for his treachery but he couldn't care less. His path to glory has just began...
... Little did he know that his betrayal would have dire consequences. He was cursed by the eerie Huntress; he can enjoy his glory while he's alive but after he dies, he won't be able to join the Shadow Army in the Spirit Lands; he'll be doomed to wander alone in the cold nothingness for eternity as a weakened, lost and blinded restless ghost... and the same fate awaits every wolf who follows his devious example.
As he's growing older, Morituri is more and more anxious about the curse and is seeking ways to defeat death. He already knows the Pack would never let a cursed traitor like him become the Leader but he was still determined to become the best Battle Wolf who ever roamed the Realm - something which he eventually achieved.
He's less arrogant now, more spiritual and is starting to have his regrets - deeply buried within himself - but it's already too late for him. Morituri won't escape damnation.
