When he saw her being carried into the pack clearing, just a shivering pup he knew she would be his.
A year later when a wolf was teasing her, he took his dominant wolf butt over there and nearly killed him. She thanked him and he knew she was still his.
Two years later she stood over a lake and let the wind blow through her fur, looking as beautiful as ever. He knew she was his.
Three years later they were the closest of friends you could ever meet. Even if there was a hidden love, she was still his.
Four years later she began fighting and hell did she look amazing doing it. She still was his.
Five years later she was forced to leave on a hunting trip with two other females. He was infuriated he couldn't go but before she left he told her. "Your mine." He wouldn't confess his love yet.
Six years later she told him. "I'm yours." But didn't tell him she loved him more than the world.
Seven years later he mustered enough courage and finally told her, to which she replied, "I love you too."
Eight years later she was pregnant and they were living as happy as any newly mated couple would be.
