Surviving the destruction of one pack, Cherise seeks to keep her family close. She can sense the pride in Noriche and understands his worries. Two of her pups fail to recognize the danger of the world, while the third doesn't fit in with pack life. She can only try to comfort and defend them as they grow and learn, hoping that fate will be kind to them.
