Biography Queen Irafel, daughter of Queen Solas Bron. From the very beginning, she was different as could be from the others, and it didnt take long for the others in her pack to realize how odd, how strange, how peculiar the little she-wolf was from them. She wasnt like the other pups, their perked little ears swiveling about and their little heads bobbing to every sound as soon as they could hear. She didnt do that at all, instead following everything with her eyes, catching every moment and noticing every tiny detail of the seen world. She didnt learn to speak like the others either, unable to recreate the same sounds they did. And if she couldnt see it, she missed it. She had a hard time getting around that way, as she had to be focused on another wolf to know what they wanted.
Irafel was deaf. At first, this did create some frowning among the other pack members. How could a deaf pup ever become the High Queen? Valmara, of course, grew excited upon hearing these rumors. As the second-born sister, and destined only to become the High Princess, naturally this came as music to her ears. But, if Irafel was anything, she was determined to prove herself. Unbeknownst to her packmates at first, she had also been gifted with the Second Sight, which allowed her to see into the future and into the past. Sometimes, the young fae even had visions in which she heard voices, allowing her to learn even with her deafness what voices were like. Every sense (with the exception of her hearing, of course) was heightened considerably, and it allowed Irafel to compete viciously against her packmates in everything she did. Her notice for details, her remarkable ability to sense danger better than anyone in her pack can even dream of, and her incredible talent for being able to read the emotions and words of others. She and her sister, Valmara, quickly developed some competition against each other, and their relationship soon evolved into that of a ferocious love-hate one. They loved each other fiercely, and would die for each other, but they still had that vicious sibling rivalry between them. It seemed like things would be perfect.
But of course, disaster struck. Perhaps the so-called calamity didnt strike Irafel in the same way as it might have struck many others, but it still hit her hard.
It all started when he showed up. He was a handsome brute indeed; his fur a glittering white, his eyes a crystalline blue, his face flashing one charming smile after another. Aryon was so perfect, so impeccable; Irafel was in love. So, naturally, was Valmara, and the sibling rivalry nearly grew violent over him. Both had beauty, grace, charm, and high status in their pack; both wanted Aryon as a mate. They fought over him for the longest time, both ending up having pups by him before he was killed in a failed hunt. To bring insult to injury, Queen Solas and Irafels mother, died soon after from an illness, leaving her wounded daughter to take the throne alone. Swearing that she would never love again, Irafel rose to her new leadership position, taking charge and leading the back with an unprecedented efficiency that surprised everyone. Her ambitious attitude, dignity, and fierce composition quickly gained the distant and quiet queen considerable respect. Her two daughters, Chara and Lairas, were the only living reminders of Irafels love for Aryon, and she quickly grew close to her younger daughter, Lairas. Even though Chara was the heir to the throne, it was clear whom the Queen favored more. Despite the rough rivalry between the two that had lasted for as long as anyone could remember, Irafel remained close to Valmara, who didnt seem to be quite as affected by Aryons death as the young queen was. She also grew close to the young princess, Maeveri, who agreed heartily to the Queens emphasis on the importance of higher learning. To these special wolves, Irafel was a close friend and even a competitor, even though she was quiet around the others, demanding their respect, though holding off from anything more.
Under the incredible reign of Queen Irafel, the pack has grown tremendously in territory, power, and members. Few can stand up to the power of the mighty queen; the fae that went from the tiny, deformed pup to mighty ruler of a massive territory.
Queen Solas Bron would surely be proud.

| Personality Queen Irafel is a truly incredible fae; the power almost seems to radiate from her glittering coat of golden, stony, and snowy hues. Her narrowed, dark eyes speak of power, dignity, and respect; the she-wolfs very form demands reverence and honor from others. She is quiet and seldom speaks out of place or without necessity, and she hasnt engaged in what she considers to be frivolous conversation since her youth. Almost considered to be on the level of mysteriousness by her subordinates, there is little known about Queen Irafel by her packmates. A few remember Irafels more wild side from her earlier days, but those, to Irafel, are days long-forgotten. She talks mostly to her close friends: Maeveri, Lairas, and of course, her sister Valrama. They know that she is a truly ambitious one, cunning, and intelligent one, despite her stoic and silent exterior. She is a queen, and everybody knows it.
Her youngest daughter's disappearance broke her heart. Lairas had left, after battling depression from countless miscarriages, and after her only daughter, Jenevieve, ran away, she couldn't remain in the pack any longer. It was too painful to bear.
