Dew sniffed the air her fur standing on end. There were wolves here, she knew it /but from where? From what pack?/ She wondered /should i try to find them?/ shaking her head she turned and ran the other way. Finally 3 days later Dew found the sent of another pack, it was a semi-big pack and she could smell a few pups and elders, but would they want a usless outcast to join them? Dew sighed and began to walk away when suddenly two wolves jump out of the bushes crouching she starred at them her eyes wide. "Who are you?" The older wolf asked, Dew gulped "i...i'm Dew who are you", the young wolf wagged his tail "I'm Splash-of black velvet and this is my older brother Stone-in dark water but you can call us Splash and Stone", Stone huffed as he glanced around "well Dew what are you doing in our territory and where is your pack" he snapped, Dew shrunk away from him and whimpered "i don't have a pack and I didn't know this was your territory" Watching Dew saw Stone eyes soffen suddenly Splash started ro howl "what are you doing" Dew asked " why are you howling so much", Stone glanced at his brother "he's calling the pack alphas to come here" Dew starred at him startled "then i have to get out of here" Splash instantly stopped howling "but why? Our alphas won't hurt you they're always fare". A few moments latter two wolves trotted through the bushes and in to the clearing "hello" a dark colored female said her eyes bright "who are you" Dew glanced from the first female to the other her ears flat "I'm Dew and i was just looking for somewhere to live" The the first wagged her tail slowly "well Dew i'm Dash Splash and Stone's mother and this is Leaf she is one of my patrol wolves" Dew slowly wagged her tail suddenly Splash jumped up "i have an idea why don't you join our pack?" Dew starred at the male her eyes wide Dash stood "yes i think that's a wonderful idea" Dew opened her mother but was interrupted when Dash put her tail over her mouth "however only if Dew really wants to" Dew looked at the other wolves she noticed that Leaf seamed disappointed in Splash's idea, she even looked a little angry. Taking a deep breath Dew began "i really don't know that it would such a good idea for me to join you pack" Splash and Stone looked at each other "but Dew" Stone began "However" Dew continued looking at the brothers "i would like to try it out and if i like it i could stay" -Dew-'those words changed my life forever I quickly became lead patroler, much to the dismay of Leaf, and i found i loved both Stone and Splash very much however I didn't know who i loved more and this provided problems. Until one day'- Dew sniffed the air her fur stood on end "humans" she muttered bitterly "Glow" she said turning to the young male wolf "run as fast as you can back to camp and tell Alpha that the humans are trying to catch us and they are getting close to camp" Glow nodded and raced away. Leaf pricked her ears and glanced at Dew "do you think they will attack our camp" she asked worry in her eyes. Dew sigh "I don't know but i think we should see what they are doing" Leaf nodded and fallowed Dew as she padded closer to the humans. Suddenly as they padded closer they saw a older male wolf laying stretched out on the ground, blood flowing from his side, "father" Dew gasped racing to his side "father what happened" the wolf, who was called jackdaw looked at Dew and let his gaze travel to Leaf "Dew and Leaf" he sighed Leaf starred at him shocked "how did you know my name" she asked confused Jackdaw took a deep breath "i.. always remember my pup's names" he said closing his eyes. The two females looked at each other, surprise, shock and wonder on their faces, Leaf crept toward Jackdaw and whispered in his ear asking if he was her father, Jackdaw nodded just as he took his long last breath. Dew starred at Leaf and then nuzzled her father, no, their father's soft pelt only to find a sharp stick humans used to put animals to sleep and transport them. this sticks usually didn't kill animals but this one was stuck deep inside Jackdaw's throat Dew sobbed "oh father" she whispered turning she looked at Leaf and let her tail drop
