History
Born to a litter of 4 after the coup, she was born into the chaos of a kingdom struggling to right itself. Paranoia was everywhere, especially in the ruling class and those marked by the Xanilov line were key targets of ridicule and suspicion. Turtle kept to herself, her quiet and reserved nature developing rapidly at an early age. Any wrong move, any foolish question could mean death in the eyes of a paranoid government. Age was no excuse. As such Turtle learned to keep herself under control and to be suspicious of all but the brother she was closest to, Björn. Though this did extend to her other siblings as well. Everyone else was to be suspected as a potential spy looking for scapegoats. However, Björn was not able to keep so low key and his antics soon brought the attention of the higher ups and he was forced to flee. Unwilling to be separated from him Turtle fled as well.

Stern and calculating, Turtle is a quiet and cautious female with an intimidating aura. Despite her size she moves with silent precision and is rarely someone who enters a scene with a splash. She slips in softly and those that are unaware might not even notice her. Despite her seemingly aloof nature, Turtle is reasonably friendly and will shoot the breeze with strangers though her tendency is always to glean as much from simple conversation as she can in case she should need to protect herself or her brother.
While lacking a boastful ego Turtle is still confident in herself and her abilities particularly in the arts of battle. She is rarely one to back down from a challenge. This woman boats a brutal nature in battle that can even border on the cruel. She believes in giving her all in a fight and sees fisticuffs as a personal insult to her skills and abilities. Persevering and stubborn, Turtle does not fall easily. She accepts loss with unexpected grace though there is almost always the promise of violence to follow in a later rematch. She's spent her life surviving and she plans to continue to do so with her brother at her side. There is little this woman fears and her strong sense of loyalty to those that have earned her trust make her a dependable and valuable companion.
Patient and calm, Turtle is not easily riled. Often she attempts to be the rock to her brother's, Björn's, flame hoping to give his temper and changing moods something to move safely around. She wants to be there to support him through anything that happens. Björn is her greatest treasure and strongest bond and in her mind he comes before all else.
There is a playful side of Turtle though as is her style it is subtle, quiet, dry and perhaps a little coy. She will tease and jest though only around those she is comfortable with, unless of course she desires to fight. Turtle is not above luring others into battle with her words though mostly the mischievous
