The dappled pup let out a harrumph of frustration as she stared down at the little creature before her. Green eyes narrowed, she sniffed, attitude quite apparent in her gaze. "I'm trying," she grumbled. "I don't know. I can't do this, Dmitri. I'll never be a real frog."

The little amphibian glanced up at her, glossy eyes filled with sympathy. "No, no. Don't say that. You'll be a good frog, trust me. As our destined queen, you must learn our ways. Now, repeat after me again. Rrribbit. Growl it in the back of your throat."

She let out a huff of annoyance before clearing her throat. "Rrrribbit?" she tried again, her voice croaking."

"Good, good!" Dmitri bobbed his tiny green head up and down. "You're sounding like a real frog! See, I told you that you are destined to be our queen. You just need to practice."

"Thank you, Dmitri," she murmured. She felt happy that she was finally mastering what had taken her moons to learn. "Rrribbit," she said more confidently. Now she could greet her future subjects in the proper language.

"Well done, my queen," Dmitri croaked. "You've made great strides. You'll be queen before you know it."

The Future Queen of the Frogs couldn't wait.

Hoo, boy. You were originally named 'Lil Thief' due to the fact that you basically stole all my mushrooms. But, you were well worth it! That was quite a few talents (66 in total) that you sported for your time. Now with No Face gone, the highest you can see is about 40. Even though you failed me as a breeding wolf, you did a fantastic job as a battle wolf. You even were named 'Queen of the Frogs' and turned into a mess with a jeweled crown and frogs surrounding you. Technically, you were the second one. The first was a pup I sold at some time. Some day, that title will be passed down to yet another wolf. I'm sure you are proud.
