Dumi means "The Inspirer" in African language.
Today I was inspired to get stronger. Lift weights and such. I was tired of being weaker. And someone once asked me what was my excuse for not being fit and healthy? I didn't have any medical problems or anything so what was my excuse? I had none. Instead of whining and complaining of being weaker I decided to work to get to my goal.
I've been also growing out my pixie hair. My hair is curly and it doesn't look good on me when its short. (I cut it from damage). People told me my growing hair looked bad. It stuck out and was just bad to look at. It's shaggy and the mullet is starting to grow. I was very sad because I had a crush and my confidence around him dropped. I was frustrated and thought of getting it cut off and trimmed nicely again. But then I thought, if I can't get through this stage I will never get to the long bouncy curls I wanted. So I just looked in the mirror and made my shaggy hair stick out in all directions and I smiled because it was growing. I was even excited to see my mullet growing!! It looks ugly now. But I don't mind. Right now people know me as the girl with the ugly hair but in a few years ill be known as the girl with the beautiful curls. And I will feel more confident around everyone, even my out of league crush <3. This ugliness will pass and turn into something more beautiful. This wolf is a symbol to me. It represents hope and motivation. I want to look back at this wolf while going through her great grand nieces/nephews bloodlines and see her bio and smile. Because by then hopefully i'll have healthy hair. <3
