My Dam is Snow Rabbit. She treats me and my sisters well. Even if we don't really deserve it. Often on a Full Moon Ceremony, I will go out and kill small creatures that made the mistake of crossing my path. I'd never eat them, no, I waited for their family to find them. I carry little shame, I am apathetic. "But why?" well, I feel compelled, controlled by a unstoppable anger and urge to mangle. In the back of my mind I only wish for this to stop. I have begged and pleaded for help but they all say it's a natural urge. Yet, they'd hesitate before answering. I knew they were lying to me. I wanted an answer! So I'd torment them: My mother and sisters. By giving them "gifts" of mangled, inedible creatures but they ignored me. I became enraged after so long that I eventually gave up on them.
I began to travel after I became a juvenile, not to find my own mate but to possibly find a cure to my cruel behavior. But it just grew stronger when I resisted. I felt entirely hopeless every time I saw a smaller creature cross my path. And to my misfortune, a lost pup came around to me. The youngling was so scared and devastated, unsure of where to go. Somewhere inside of me screamed at me to help him but my mind and muscles told me to kill him. I felt great shame and sorrow for the first time in my life. I couldn't do this.
"Mister!" The pup called and darted over to the white wolf. "I need help!" I felt pity yet I wanted for my teeth to be in between his neck. "Go away." He said in a grouchy tone. "Please!" The pup insisted. I was walking away but the Pup followed. "Fine, if you won't help me, then I'll just annoyed you till you do! And my name's Aleks." This went on for awhile and the brown pup stayed true to his word. "Alright!" Illusion growled. "I'll help you!" The pup smiled with great triumph. Illusion sighed deeply. "Where do you live?" "I don't remember." The pup responded immediately with a hint of sorrow in his voice. "My pack's name is Winter Woods, do you know anything of them?" Aleks tried to look the white wolf in the eyes but Illusion avoided the younglings gaze. "I'll do what I can."
For days and weeks the duo headed North and Aleks of course deeply annoyed Illusion. But Illusion felt something for the pup. He didn't know what it was but if felt nice and as if he wanted to... protect? Maybe. He didn't notice at first but his anger seemed to of melt away. Soon, they reached the Mountains and Aleks was jumping in excitement "We're almost there!" He howled in repeat. Illusion felt happy yet sad. Two of his newest emotions that he both seemed to cherish. He wasn't ready to leave Aleks but he didn't have a den to house him or enough food to provide him. "Illusion?" The pup spoke after his excitement died down. "Do you have any family?" The white wolf looked at him for a long time before: "No... Well, I do but, they probably don't want me." Aleks looked bemused. "I've done bad things as a kid." Illusion explain. "Everyone's done bad things. I have, like when I steal food from the pile out of gluttony. Yes I get punished but I knows they still love me!" Illusion gave off a throaty laugh but it was cut off short. "I've done worse things, kid." Aleks didn't ask but seemed to understand. "Come on, kid. You've got places to be and family to see."
The little duo had finally found a strange scent that Aleks seemed happy to smell. "We're here!" he shouted with joy but after awhile his joy seemed to of died quite suddenly. "This means..." His voice trailed off as he looked at Illusion. Has Aleks eyes were wide and now full of sadness. Illusion returned his gaze and shared his pain. "Go on now, don't keep your parents waiting." Aleks turned his head and took in a deep breath to let out a bellowing howl. Only minutes later, two wolves that looked like Aleks came runing down a small slope. They shouted his name in glee as they were reunited again. Aleks whined in happiness and bounced around. They didn't seem to notice Illusion.
After they had recovered from their excitement, only then did the father of Aleks notice the sleek, slim white wolf. Aleks noticed his father's stared was hostile;
