Axel had always been a wise wolf, thoughtful and sympathetic.
It was a day he finally got to experience father-hood, not with his own pup, but rather a pup he had taken under his wing, Nightlight.
He treated him and loved him like he was his own son. He protected him fiercely whenever Juno would try and offend Nightlight, though he would never defend violently, but rather through clever speech.
It was one night that Nightlight had parted from his life and rather spend his time accompanying Celestial, Breeze's pup.
Axel felt sad, though not betrayed.
But Nightlight would never leave him, and Axel wouldn't leave Nightlight either, not even when he parts from this demonically cruel world.
He knew that part of his heart would always belong to his adopted son, no matter what happened.
