Son of George and Amanda, brother of Tess, father of Isaac, Jezebel, Rachel and Vincent. He was the longtime alpha, along with his mate Lucretia, until he became too old and took the beta position to his own former beta, Stone. | 
Rinaldo
Pack leader after Giovanni. Rinaldo lived long, had two mates, and distinguished himself earlier than most of his elder siblings. Father of George, Slick, Vittoria, and Sofia (with Maya), and Allegra (with Morella). | 
Bianca
The first alpha female of the Tanis pack, noted for her wisdom and mysterious nature. Mate of Sakima, mother of Giovanni, Yuma, Ezio, Massimo, Sitka, Rinaldo, Chinook, Paolo, etc. |
Slick
George's brother and litter-mate, he was (briefly) the alpha male after George's death. He and Amanda brought up the former leader's two pups, and had one of their own: Waylon. | 
Rufo
The first beta male of the Tanis wolves, Sakima's second-in-command almost all his life and a notable warrior. | 
Amanda
Amanda came to the Tanis pack when she was quite young. She became the mate of George and the mother of Waylon, then had two pups with George's brother Slick. After Slick's death, she went on to be a long-lived and very capable leader. |
Sakima
The Tanis pack's founding alpha male, known as a fine angler and a personable leader. Father of Giovanni, Yuma, Ezio, Massimo, Sitka, Rinaldo, Chinook, Paolo, etc. | 
Snooks
The last - and longest-lived - of the original four Tanis founders, Snooks was always a princess, but her abilities were considerable, and she looked after the younger wolves well after their parents died. | 
Morella
Rinaldo's next mate after Maya died, Morella was not only the Tanis pack's first female leader, but its first leader unrelated to the founding wolves. Her second mate was the elderly Torment. Mother of Allegra, Elvira, Marcus, Petra, Marcel, Lucius, and Lucretia. |
George
The son of Rinaldo and his first mate Maya. Was long a beta male for his father, and led alongside his mate Amanda. Father of Adam and Tess. |
