Do not recommend. If I pull a true all nighter, my brain lags on the exam. This is why I set a timer for an hour and a half, sleep, wake up and get back to it. When I feel myself slowing down again I take another snooze

Yeah, so it's what I said, nap shorter than 30min. The 90min one is what I prefer when I'm trying to get some "sleep" rather than a refresher. I don't experience much sleep grogginess when I do that

Harvard's advice is to reduce grogginess when you wake up. Which is basically the opposite of everything you just said lol

My advice is for all nighters where you need to perform on an exam the next day, I find putting away SOME sleep will enhance performance on the exam itself
