| Eden I'm glad I'm not alone in it. I'm not usually one to admit to my feelings, but I want my friend to know the truth of why I've been acting so distant. We trust each other, and if I keep that kind of stuff to myself, it can't really be considered trust. |

| Petri I also do that but I also have the 10 minute rule. Type out a response, wait 10 minutes, then read it back to yourself. (I am working on self control as well) I dont always know how to explain things properly either but you arent alone in weirding people out |

| Eden I have/had a friend that I RP'd with regularly, and we talked every day about random stuff when we weren't doing RPs, but she didn't say anything to me yesterday beyond showing me a bit of art and I replied by just saying "Neato". I've been a bit selfish by being upset that she likes others' art and characters while preferring we consistently demonize my character, who is meant to be an extension of myself. I told her that I was sorry for acting so weird and that I understood if she wanted to stop talking, and then I read back on my explanation and got afraid that it was manipulative, so I apologized for that, too. Then I apologized for THAT and said I wouldn't blow her DMs anymore and she probably feels really weirded out and doesn't want to talk to an unstable weirdo. |
