| wisp not necessarily. you're required to go through years of hormone replacement therapy before competing in the sport of another gender. by then, even your bone density has changed. just because one trans athlete competes better than their counterparts doesn't mean that's the case for all of them. most never make it to that level of competitive field |

| I mean, I can see how you view sports as useless, but my father was a minor league baseball player, so I know the backside to it. You don't really realize how many people are employed just for sports to be around. |

| Wisp I heard about that one :0 I also swam competitively when I was in high school, and even then you can see the differences in qualifying times and stuff |

| Ghost I have trans friends I am all for them being in sports but people born male will have an advantage there are events where they dominated the others. my parents were talking about one swimming event. prob Olympics |

| i urge everyone who disagrees with trans competitors in sports to research the hoops they have to jump through to even be considered before making comments. you're allowed to have your opinions but you can't complain about homophobes and then be ignorant about trans people |

| I'm not sure what specific incident we are talking about but honestly, it's just sports. It's really not all that big a deal. I could care less about sports. It could end completely and it wouldn't effect my day. So I don't see why everyone else is so upset by it. But I've never even viewed it as a real career so maybe that's a me thing. |
