| Man, I've got a wild strategy I'm gonna have to follow for the next few months. Gotta wake up before the cat's automatic food bowl goes off, take the dog out for a morning walk/bathroom time, come back in and feed the dog, then play like I've never played before. | @Pera That's great! I think I was just a little anxious because of the pup's arrival and that messed with my patience. I should be better tomorrow after a good night’s rest and a day of us actually getting to know each other. |

| My last puppy was an APBT who had a little... too much crate time. That's the only power breed I've owned beyond my new pup. Relearning how to work with dogs after having a cat(s) for a huge chunk of my life is... going. |

| @Pera I feel like a bad puppy mom right now. It turns out the "chug-chug-chugging" was him panting because it gets really humid in my room at night. I had to turn the fan on after getting up to move the potty pad thinking he was just breathing on it too hard. |
