And wha ha happen wuz We get a call to go to an address We are not given any information with this call. No chief complaint, no reason for transport, no patient name, nothing. So we go to the address, roll up on to the scene and there's like four police cars, most of the police are in the yard, and they're expecting us. It would appear that there was a group home that was in violation of something. Either fire code (which wouldn't surprise me, the room the guy was in was super small and there were four beds packed into that room) or health code or elder abuse- I don't know, something. Either way, we get the guy, had to ask around to get anything even resembling a face sheet (the document that has information such as name, date of birth, SSN, so on), and the transported... to another group home... I'm sure this is fine. Either way, nurse signed the transfer of care for, the poor bastard is not my problem. |
