Lol, well put, Blackburne. Okay, oldest story first. When my mum was six, her dad took her camping and let her wander away to the river early in the morning. She spotted a cougar on the other side, crouching, and didn't know it was, you know, deadly. Luckily her father caught up to her in time and picked her up, running back to camp. Mum said she saw the cougar land right where she had been seconds ago.
Second story, my dad. He was in his early twenties, out for a Canadian stroll, and stopped to tie his shoes. Cougars are, for lack of a better word, cowardly, so they don't attack adults often and it probably mistook my dad crouching for a deer or a child or something.
He straightened up while it was already in the air, and it had to twist to land beside him instead of on him when it realized that it's prey was much bigger than it thought. Dad says he felt it brush by his leg as it rushed by, that's how close it was. Last of all, my younger sister! This one is less interesting, she was just on a stroll around twilight and heard a low growl. She stopped to look around and make sure nothing was near by, and spotted a cougar nearly hidden in the shadows of the alleyway she had been about to enter, possibly protecting a deer (we lived in a pretty isolated mountain town at the time). She just turned around and headed home.

Why is it so hard to find the perfect kitten lineart? So many older kitten or cat linearts But no fluffy kittens with the tiny tails straight up :(

Good luck on finding your lineart! so... got a bear story. (Rushed this so it's probably horrible grammar) We were off-roading/camping with a big group, so it was the second night camping. We had a backpack in the trunk of the Jeep so we could make s'mores. So when everyone woke up, my friend was off doing a jog when he came back he told us there was a bag out in the forest. So my dad went with him once he said ”A pink backpack with stripes” so my dad brought it back, and it was our bag that now had a hole in it, and the quesso was the only thing not broken. When my dad got back we went to the Jeep. the right back window had been destroyed by my dad accidentally flipping the Jeep over on a trail. (Along with the hole top was damaged) so now there was claw marks on a seatbelt and a back tire. There was only one person up who said it sounded like a person had woken up and was walking around.

Y'all have some good stories. Only camping story I've got is getting off work and meeting my roommates at the camp site, I had a hot dog bun on my knee and a hot dog in the fire, and all of a sudden I hear one of the dogs eating something, look over, and one of the sons of bitches grabbed the damn bun off my knee and I didn't even notice...
