Spicy food also helps drain sinuses, relieving congestion for a little while Hot shower also helps in the same way, aside from you feeling clean and thus generally better, also relaxing the muscles and moving water boosts serotonin or something, no I don't remember the science, not I don't feel like looking it up. When you have a hot drink, the best for your cold is a lemon tea with a healthy amount of honey. If you just want to sleep and relax and let your body's natural functions fight the virus, camomile with honey. Yeah, I know those, the issue is... tired, lol. I've got some ginger beef I could cook, that cleans my nose well, I've got lemon and honey (no kettle but I think the pot is clean) but I just can't fifnd the energy.
