It's been about that long for me. It was necessary, unfortunately I've had to hide from some people, so I don't have any social media accounts. Long story short I've told y'all before where I'm at in the US, but my birth family has no clue.

My mother has the same relationship with her parents, and my grandparents so I understand what you mean.
