I like Shinedown, Weezer, Blink-182, Seether, Three Days Grace, All American Rejects, Paromore, My Chemical Romance, and Fall Out Boy.

Bands similar to those would be nice!

Green Day is my all time favorite band so ofc I think you should listen to them, I also recommend Harvey Danger's "where have all the marrymakers gone?" and The Smiths, The Ramones, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Taking Back Sunday, and Led Zeppelin if you don't already have them :]
