Breeding Info:
Most dragonlings can breed with each other. They must follow three requirements:
1. Belong to the same terrain (mountain, forest, ocean)
2. same animal kingdom (fish, mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird, insects)
3. Opposite genders (as of now, you decide each dragonling gender until I remember to input that into dragonling stats)
Breeding Chances-
Natural Abilities- NA's are decided depending on what type of dragonling is created. If you breed a Wolverineling, their NA will be the same as every Wolverineling. This is not dependent on who the parents are.
Type of dragonling- This is mostly random, though it will be from the same terrain as the parents just not guaranteed the same type. For example, a Fishling and a Sharkling will breed something from the ocean terrain but it can be a Rayling or Whaling, not just Fishlings and Sharklings.
Boosts/defects- This will be random and I'll use an online spinner for this. If one of the parents has a boost/defect, the chance of a boost/defect will be 1/6. It will double if both have a boost or defect. If both parents have the same boost/defect, chances will increase by 1/8. Around half the spinner will be no boosts/defects and the rest will be a random boost/defect. Proof of the spinner will be offered if you ask, otherwise I won't give it.
Personality- Dragonling personality won't become apparent until they are 5 days old. Their personality will be based on what they observe from their parents.
Specializes/Weak/Neutral- This will mostly be based on what sort of dragonling they are. Birds will mostly specialize in insects, etc. Rarely will a bird be weak against insects, though there is a small chance in genetics.
Rarity: Every single possible trait from the parents will be put into a yes/no spinner and those determine the dragonling's rarity plus design, mostly. Small chance of a pattern that doesn't come from parents.
