Yeps! I was almost Swedish before but now I can actually say I am LOL - it's going pretty well! Getting settled after the 10 hour car drive down here bahaha

You don't need to explain to people the concept of Finnland Swedes anymore, what a BLESSING! I'm so curious because I heard there are quite the dialect differences between Finland Swedish and other dialects, is that ever an issue for you now? 👀

As for dialects, there are for sure differences, but Sweden also has a multitude of very different dialects by itself! The Skåne dialect that is present in this area is often seen as one of the most unintelligible out of them, though I've never had an issue with understanding it hehe. It's like the bridge between Danish and Swedish -

Many also say that the dialect I speak from home sounds like another separate one in northern Sweden, and it's not too far from the Stockholm-area dialect either! There is also quite a bit of difference between Åland and Ostrobothnia, and so we end up kind of inbetween the Swede-Finnish and Swedish dialect-wise :3

So it's definitely varied but also the south is a big mix of different dialects so there'll be more and less understandable ones :D I usually don't struggle a whole lot with dialects and languages thankfully ;p
