I'm happy to support you and fellow artists here always! :D Yes, going back to a piece after taking a break from it will often help immensely with refreshing your perspective, and it certainly helped here! Oh that's great! Besides the background struggle, but you should be proud that you pulled it off even though you may find them frustrating. It is simple, but it works, and it a start of more to come, surely. You can only go up from here! (Sometimes, down, but generally up with the right kind of consistent practice, lol.) Yeah! Hec yeah! I can't believe you've never done feathered wings before--these turned out awesome despite that! The referencing and redo-ing definitely paid off bro. :3

It helped coming back to it because I realized what was wrong immediately. As for the wyvern, I enjoyed working on it! The only issue I had was the background. They're not my strong suits, even basic ones. :,) So it did frustrate me a tad. Last dude, I adore. I've never done feathered wings before, but I'm overall happy with how it turned out. :D I did want to strangle it at one point because the quality was dog water. It kept getting blurry and ugh.

(exist) Tenes - Always happy to boost your ego boi aljdfkjds- And lol however many times you powered through those wings, you did it. You done did it and they're stinking great. - And, judging by the three more winged beauties following it, you're on an absolute roll! :D They all have distinct shapes to them, short and stubby, longer and broader, and a more elegantly tucked shape. Very nice yo. - Is that a frekin six-eyed doggo. That mans has six eyes and they glow. And that simple, moody, eerie background, so good. The monochrome of it against the vibrant blues and golds of the pelt, such a nice artistic decision. - The gifts for Imperial Sands and Polly also came out so good--the doggo has a good pose, aggressive, caught off guard by something, perhaps, and the dragon piece sort of washes a feeling of calm over you. The deep grey snowy background works. I'd definitely pet, if Polly gives the green light. |
