First of all, this year I've leaned a lot into anatomy and technical stuff like perspective and composition to start pinpointing my style and it has worked ?? I believe. I drew more pieces this year than last year, which is definitely an improvement :D I basically had a full piece for every month!! Fighting the evil 3/4 angle has been going. Eh. Better recently LMAO. There's only so many angles to choose from and still showcase everything I fear
The January piece was completed a couple days into the year and I still love it, not gonna lie - I could redraw it but that perspective still kills me 😭 I was going to say "the start of my Vinrory obsession" but by then I was already FAR gone. The idea of Vincent sitting on Rory came to me in a holy vision. Hope he didn't suffer any broken ribs. WILL be drawing that again.
February was a commission for uuuh,,, someone :0 wings galore! Portraits are still a little difficult for me but I manage bahah
March we have Apollo!! This one was a commission for ET that I took to the extremes cause I got the idea and stuck with it muahaha. Dramatic lighting hours :D Still love drawing wings
April, Rory's month, of course had to be the one sketch piece of Rory in Pantheon. I like to think of it as the start of my less time spent full pieces cause it still turned out pretty well :3 and of course subtly Vinrory which always automatically turns out better
May was a commission!! Fell in love with lineless once again and got to work on some composition and backgrounds,, took a while to complete but I had a lot of fun doing it
June was another commission right before Artfight! I treated it as a kind of warmup :D not much to say, still working on my portraits LOL
You do NOT know how hard it was to choose one piece for July,,, all the Artfight pieces I had to choose from. Ultimately, I really adore the Apollo piece most still! Getting to draw some symbolism, an albatross AND a fine ass man on top of that was a real good time :D
I was a bit burnt out after Artfight so in August I returned to lineless and did an Itzcoatl sketch which turned into a pretty much complete piece :'D I just wanted to draw a macuahuitl man
Some Itzacatl for September! This was one of the months I hardly finished anything ueueue. Some playing around with grayscale :3
October was a commission and BOY was I glad to draw a wolf again. Love the piece a lot and I wanna draw more wolves so bad still </3
November I finished my whole art project for school, so I had a lot of material to show off ahaha. Still very recent so you guys have seen most of it already. Exhausted myself of drawing Itztli so I returned to Vinrory right after ;')
And this December I have NOT been very productive with finishing a lot of stuff - mostly just Vinrory sketches! But that's alright :D So it's tied between the wolfy Vinrories and bunny Rory >:D
What a year man <3 I can't wait to see what my brain's gonna come up with next. Maybe some more ocs in Gaga outfits 👀👀👀
