This is rubys story. She lives in a world of winged people with long feathered tails and small feathery ears on top their heads. Their wings are of natural colors and patterns their hair tail and ears following. But ruby has bright red wings. Her tail is long and more furred than most. Her ears are larger and mostly black. Follow her story as she finds the old secrets of her world. Her home is slowly and silently falling apart and Shes the only one who knows it.

(Slight warning: the mini stories may take a little bit to create as they are much different than the main plot of the story but I do say that seeing the characters in the book through a different perspective is VERY cool!!)

It was my birthday. I should be happy. But I wasn't. I was 15. The leader died when I was born. It was strange. But most thought it was a coincidence. I didn't. It seemed strange how I would have flashbacks of people and things that happened in HER life rather than mine. It confused me. I never told anyone. They already think of me as a freak anyways. My bright ruby red wings, the large fluffy ears, the long bushy tail. I wasn't the same. Well at least all the boys in my school were padding after me. So I had my pick of anyone I wanted. But there was one boy...he would do anything to get to the front lines to see me. And oh my stars above to the earth below, he was hot. He even tried to sit NEXT to me in my classes! But the biggest rudest bully in the school always took that spot. He wasn't even smart. He always copied off of my papers. I didn't care. He still got bad grades. I always put down the wrong answers. Then changed them. It worked good.
