Darkseekers sounded just more intereresting than Lightbringers or neutral. And I liked that they can be evil, but don't have to be.

I felt like becoming neutral was too non-commital, and lightbringers reminded me of that one person that's always smiling and getting in your face while you're trying to be lazy.
