Up to you. I didn't really see anything that would need changed based on the fact they share an apartment. It would make sense that they would have heard her fight last night based on how emery asked her how she's holding but

nooo Voxy don't cry your work is amazing!! you deserve to hear this!!! it would change a few details that I would have to add in, but not much so it is totally possible that these two are still roomates if you're okay with that! also Emery is non-binary and uses they/them not he/him (sorry for any confusion!) |

okay pardon me for a cheesy saying here but word count doesn't mean shit. it is more about the quality of your writing than the quantity. with writing like yours, I am excited to see whatever you make, no matter the size!
