I've been doing the heads for most of my life and not focusing on anything else, but I have been doing the legs separately so I can piece te bodies together! Those are some pretty amazing people! You should practice doing finished parts, like did you see in the third photo that I had hooves up to the knee, and in the second I had ears? just get yourself comfortable with doing the parts of it you're struggling with in that position, experiment and adjust, I put my details on even before I'm finished because it gives me a better perspective. Thats why I've been doing JUST the heads for easily 10 years (I'm not kidding) Also those look amazing for rough sketches, I wanna see some finished products :O Determined_Wolf said: bE MORE CONFIDENT your art is super cool and the thing I have found the best to do is to do something that I would never try unless I forced myself. can I ask for your help on these sketches though? these were some of the rough sketches I decided to keep, but do you have any advice? https://postimg.cc/gallery/JJK2Bb0 iArema said: Aw thank you! You can tell where i erased the most I'm surprised I didn't erase more but yeah I don't really sketch, just adjust and make sure lines I can only draw in pencil, just not confident enough for it Determined_Wolf said: I love your more scratchy style! It looks super super pretty! :D

that's super good advice! I have been struggling with hands and feet so I am going to practice refining those when I have the time. also tens years of drawing heads would literally kill me- how are you still doing are after that torture?? thanks for your advice though. haha thanks a ton for your compliments too! I might send a finished product eventually but I just don't love a lot of my recent art sadly. really bad art block isn't helping that ^^’ iArema said: I've been doing the heads for most of my life and not focusing on anything else, but I have been doing the legs separately so I can piece te bodies together! You can always watch tutorials, or look up drawings of both and copy off what you see til you find a way to do it easily and in your own style. Patience and Practice, don't rush :] It's not torture for me, I love horses and I chose to hyperfixate on the heads because I think thats their most beautiful part and whenever I improve it makes me so proud and happy because they truely do look better sometimes. Ten years isn't as long when you know I was little when that started- its probably closer to a dozen years though. It started when I was still in a carseat 😬 And you're welcome, compliments are a wonderful way to boost your thoughts and keep you motivated especially when they're genuine :D And thats very understandable, I went through a long phase when my style changed a LOT and I needed to change it because I did not like the look of it. Give it a little time and work at your own pace even when you're discouraged. Sometimes I go a month without drawing anything and there isn't anything wrong with that. okay maybe this is just me wanting to know everyone better or trying to think of activities before the rp starts, but how would everyone's character do in a game like spin the bottle, hot seat, or truth or dare?

Ezra most likely wouldn't do spin the bottle, he'd probably like hot seat and truth or dare though. cards against humanity would probably be a favorite but I don't think they'd have that back then hehehehe

Mai would tease the hell out of him if he refused spin the bottle also cards of humanities would be so fun to see these characters play in general so I am sure we can come up with a more historically accurate version iArema said: Ezra most likely wouldn't do spin the bottle, he'd probably like hot seat and truth or dare though. cards against humanity would probably be a favorite but I don't think they'd have that back then hehehehe
