Okay, so trying to work on Lynxtuft... she joins the rebellion because she finds out Malakai killed her parents and pack and stole her to take her to his pack. She is trying to keep it hidden, but she now hates him, and is very scared of him.

Not everyone needs to hate Malakai. He needs some supporters or it defeats the whole purpose. The only character that has every right to hate Malakai is Keanu his brother.
