I love all the angsty information!

The workers/guards actually have different ranks within them as well, and so do the recruiters. Though, the creatures are all basically the same, the only difference being how quickly they can move up in the ranking system.
-
Here are the more descriptive ranks in order, though!
-
Watchers are first, they're generally the people who have been in the gang the longest and have a personal connection to Viar. Their job is really easy, they basically just get to go around and yell at people and, well, just watch. After new supplies comes in (supplies that is generally stolen and then given out to gang members... food, clothing, hygiene products, cigarettes, etc.), the watchers get first pick.
-
Leaders are next, just under the Watchers. Their job consists of giving out jobs and punishments to lower ranks, they also decide who may be eligible to move up and rank, though Viar and the Watchers ultimately make that decision.
-
General Recruiters are the lowest group of recruiters, which is what Lilac and Marco are. Their job is to go out and collect more people for the gang. They can give orders to lower ranks, but aren't allowed to deal punishments or suggest moving people up. As mentioned, every type of recruiter is known by a human name (though they can only go by a name that matches their gender given at birth) and pronouns.
-
Then, there are the worker and guard ranks.
-
Medics are the highest of the worker rank, they're trained in basic medicine and take care of people if they get sick or after they're punished. Medics tend to get away with more than other workers, mainly because the recruiters kind of fall back on them as well, so they aren't typically punished. However, medics are the only rank that have no chance of moving up. Once you've chosen to be a medic, you're always a medic. Most of them are just referred to as "Medic," but there are a select few who have connections to Viar and go by "Medic name," and all of them may be addressed with pronouns.
-
Guards are next. They have the easiest job of the low ranks, which is really just to stay in camp and watch to make sure no unwanted company infiltrates. (Cops or anyone who might alert cops, mainly). Not much else to say about them other than the fact that they're provided weapons. They're just addressed as "Guard," and addressed with pronouns.
-
Runners are after guard. They're given the somewhat riskier jobs of stealing or running simple errands for the gang. Occasionally, they'll be provided weapons if their job is more risky, but generally, they just work with what they can find. They're addressed as "Runner" and occasionally pronouns, though they're more likely to be addressed in a dehumanizing way. (It/Its/It's pronouns)
-
Finally, there's the Creatures. These are the lowest ranking in the gang. These are generally newer members (though a few have simply been deemed expendable even after being in the gang for a longer period of time, like Briar) and are given the most dangerous jobs of all (stealing weapons, stealing from more populated places/larger companies, and even things like hunting down and fighting/killing gang enemies or "traitors"). They're never given weapons, only able to use what they can find for missions, and they're given the last pick of new supplies (meaning they usually get very little food or new clothing), and they're treated terribly by everyone else within the gang. More often than not, they're dished out unnecessary punishments and beaten down by higher ranks. They're completely dehumanized, only ever being referred to as "Creature" or "Monster," and the only pronouns used for them are It/Its/It's. They're also the most likely to end up dead, and, frankly, that fact is just ignored and even laughed at among others in the gang.
