Guys! I found a cool sheet to give extra info on characters and I'm going to annoy you with a ridiculously long post for each one of my characters! (Yes, I am doing this instead of being productive-)

How does your character feel about their own physical appearance?
He doesn't love it-
He's pretty self-conscious, though that's mostly due to the fact that he hasn't had a good past with people touching him. He doesn't like to be looked at, so he covers up, but he doesn't think of himself as ugly either, after all, Val did say he was 'too pretty to pass up.'
How is your character react in social situations where they're forced to be around strangers? What about friends?
Hide. That's pretty much all he does in a situation when he's around a lot of strangers, that or go have a panic attack in the corner.
He's pretty affectionate towards friends most of the time though, and he can become a little clingy when you earn his trust.
Are they good at expressing their emotions or more stoic?
Most of the time, he's more stoic. He doesn't like bothering others, sometimes it just overflows though.
When was the last time they cried?
Probably today-
Where do they fall on the scale of introversion and extroversion?

What is their outlook on life like?
He hopes it can get better, but he never fully trusts anything.
Do they have a life philosophy?
You can dream all you want, but don't hope too hard or you might get hurt.

How do they handle stress?
Push it down until it overflows. Or have a panic attack. Sometimes he just acts without thinking and then has a panic attack later.
Where do they like to go to unwind?
Read a book or listen to some music, preferably alone or with one or two close friends (Or his significant other.)
How adaptable are they to new situations?
Depends. Sometimes he can't handle it and completely breaks and sometimes he jumps right in without a second thought.
When was the last time they told a lie? Do they have a bad opinion of liars?
Hahaha.... yeah. Probably today. Usually, the lie is about his mental state, but he's lied about other things too, he's technically a thief.
Do they make promises? Have they ever broken a promise?
Ethan avoids promises as much as possible, especially when it comes to relationships, mostly due to trauma. As for broken promises?
Only once, and it was to save himself.
What annoying or bad habits do they have?
Uhhhh, he fidgets when he gets nervous and will bite his cheek? He doesn't have many habits, soooo
Are they prejudiced towards certain groups of people?
No. You have to know someone to judge them.
What's their sense of humor like?
He's very playful in general and can roll with any joke. His favorite jokes definitely involve shipping people though (Healthy ships only, of course).
What makes them sad? *cue the sad puppy commercials*
A lot. He doesn't like being alone and he hates being reminded of his past.
What gets on their nerves?
Not much can upset Ethan, he's pretty laid back. He does hate when people go after his friends though, and he will attack if they're threatened.
What things do they like or obsess over?

What's the thing (physical or abstract) they want more than anything else?
To be cared about unconditionally. Platonically or romantically, he just wants someone to love him without hurting him.
When was their first kiss?
Years ago. It involved a bridge over a river, a cigar, and a very toxic man.
How did their first relationship end?
Badly. That puts it lightly.

Yes.

Over and over by the same person
How do they flirt?
He doesn't really know how, he mostly just gets flustered.
How do they display affection differently to their friends, families, and romantic interests?
He doesn't have family (that he knows)
He gives gifts and acts of servents to both friends and romantic interests. In a romantic relationship though, he'll probably be more physical with cuddles and kisses.
Do they get jealous?
Nope. Well, not usually. He mostly just gets sad, he thinks so badly of himself that if he sees someone he cares about with someone else he automatically believes that they are better off with them instead of him anyway.
How do they react to rejection?
Cry. A lot. At the same time though, he'll openly respect and accept whoever rejected him.
How do they react if someone they aren't particularly interested in expresses interest in them?
He gets very uncomfortably and kind of freaks out a little, but he refuses to say or do anything about it.
How confident are they (with relationships or otherwise?)
Not confident at all, he believes he's not good enough and no one has been able to change that.
Are they forgiving or do they hold grudges?
Very forgiving. He forgives completely and usually tries to forget... Sometimes that's hard though
Do they believe in redemption?
With most things, yes. In a certain situation? Not really.
What's their reputation like? Is it different in different circles? Do they like their reputation or would they like to be perceived differently?
Ethan has the reputation of someone very sweet and kind but also shy, it doesn't differ for anyone except his ex, and he doesn't mind this reputation.
Do they like to think on their feet or plan ahead?
On his feet... Well, he'd like to plan ahead, but he's not great at it
Do they struggle with impulsiveness?
Kind of? Usually only when it comes to protecting those he cares about, other than that he has great control

Not really, he just gets fidgety in general
What are their most positive and negative character traits? What about their most prominent character traits?
Positive: Probably kindness.
Negative: Probably his anxiety
Prominent: Probably his selflessness
Do they have any regrets in life? What do they feel most guilty about?
So, so many regrets, but he's not really guilty about any of them. Most revolve around Val
What achievement are they most proud of?
Ethan doesn't really have any. At least, not that he remembers.
What is their first memory?
His mother holding him, crying, and telling him she was sorry but she had to go now.
Their fondest memory?
Probably when he and Robin used to play tag on the school playground with lots of friends and classmates. Things were simple then, if not always good.
Their worst memory?
Woooooo, lots of those. Probably, though, meeting Val. It's bittersweet and makes the worst memories worse because he loved him so much once.
What smells remind them of the past?
Alcohol and cigarette smoke are the main things, but also, from when he was living with his friend Robin, apple cider and freshly cut grass.
What's the most beautiful thing they’ve ever seen?
Once, a long time ago, Ethan when into the forest for a little fresh air while Val was out (this was when their relationship was still relatively okay) and he found a clearing out in the woods with a little pond and flowers around it, it was dusk, so the trees all seemed to be glowing and the water reflected pink and blue with little white and yellow flowers on the edge. He'd never forget that place.
What are their greatest fears, both physical and abstract?
His greatest overall fear would be Val, his abuser. Other than that, he fears abandonment and being treated badly because of who he is.
What are their goals or ambitions?
He would like to become a therapist or an advocate for abused persons one day. He'd like to help people who have been through things similar to him, but he has to overcome his own obstacles first.
Do they have a fatal weakness?
Anxiety?
How do they react to criticism, praise, or other judgments cast on them?
With praise, Ethan gets flustered very easily, he's not used to being told he's good at something, so he doesn't know how to respond. With criticism and judgment, Ethan is very submissive and will nod along and quickly do whatever the others ask, especially if they're loud or violent about it.
Are they competitive? How so?
No, not at all. Let the others win, he doesn't care. He will play a happy game with friends, but he typically doesn't try to win if he knows the others like to win instead.
Has anyone ever saved their life?
Well, yes. It was actually his ex...

Anything involving the LGBTQ+ community and racism. He also hates things like alcohol and drugs, though he's quieter about those.
How do they respond to threats and conflict?
Unless one of his friends is in danger, Ethan kind of panics.

Absolutely not, Ethan is terrified and suspicious of everyone around him, and he trusts some friends, but it takes a long time for that to happen.
How do they defend themselves weapon-wise?
Knife throwing, usually.
Do they have any special skills or training?
Knife throwing, and no, Ethan doesn't have any training. Everything he knows he figured out on his own.
What causes, people, or ideas, would they put their lives on the line for?
Ethan would risk his life for all of his friends and anyone he sees as innocent

With respect and a sense of fear usually
If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?
His anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health issues. He feels like a constant burden and thinks he would be much better off without all of this.
Do they have family? If so, what is the nature of their relationship and how do they feel about their family members?
No, he doesn't have a biological. However, Ethan considers his close friends a sort of family and he loves them all dearly.
How do they treat their friends?
Better than himself. With full respect, attention, and kindness. He wants them to feel better than he ever could.

Val... Abusive relationship
What kind of people do they get along with naturally? What unlikely people do they count as allies?
Ethan gets along with pretty much everyone, though he does tend to avoid people who are temperamental.

Treat others with respect and kindness, no matter how terrible they may be. Everyone deserves to feel loved.

Yes, he was bullied, mostly by his ex's friends. Also in elementary, because he was mute.

If he would ever be loved... truly loved
What advice would they give their younger self?
"Things aren't going to get better for a long time, they'll probably get worse, but no matter what, keep going. You are human. No matter what others say or how they treat you. You deserve to live. Fight for that."
What do they love to hate?
Nothing really.
Where do they go when they’re angry?
Somewhere quiet and away from people, preferably outside.
What is their current occupation? And do they like their job?
He doesn't work, it's kind of hard for him to find a job with everything going on.
What are some of their past jobs?
He never really worked, he did help out after school sometimes though.
Do they have a talent?
Drawing! He's really good at it. He is also skilled in baking and knife throwing.
What is their educational background? Are they more intelligent than average?
Ethan made it to fourth grade living with a friend and then stopped going to school after being rejected. He returned again later when he started dating Val, and though he was supposed to be a year behind, he was returned to his normal age group after a week because he was intellectually on the standard. He's slightly above average intelligence, though not by much.
What's their ideal life that they would be happy living?
Anywhere that's peaceful without anxiety and cruelty.
What possessions do they use daily?
Uhhhh, usual hygiene products? Clothes? That's really it.
What possessions do they value?
Anything given to him by friends!

Kind of? He doesn't really believe that it's there, it's more of a hope that there's something better.

He doesn't believe in any god or goddess but he respects others' views.

Somewhere quiet, maybe drowning. Or perhaps hanging.

Ethan eats in little amounts, when he was with his ex he might go a few days with nothing but a few crackers, so he learned the importance of conserving and has a tendency to eat only a little at a time and keep what he can for later. In case.

He doesn't really have one, he stays where he can, but, when he was living with Val, it was pretty terrible. Constantly messy and torn up with little rooms that always smelled like smoke and alcohol.

No, big crowds make him anxious. Big crowds and alcohol make him have PTSD flashbacks and anxiety attacks.
