Feel like I need to clear a couple of things up if you guys missed it earlier; 1. Zombies will be stopped with damage to a brain, i.e bullets. They won't technically die since the virus will continue to live in them. 2. In this world they have no concept of zombies.

it sounds like the infected will stop chasing your characters after damage to the brain, but idk maybe contact with saliva/blood/etc will cause whoever touched the infected to get infected??

I guess that the zombie is rendered immobile but the virus is still present and still reanimating it (even though it can't move its limbs because of the state of its brain) so the zombie is still alive by a technicality? So it could still be spread while it's down, yeah.

OK hiding. Not in the bathroom because there is only one exit. Why are there only one exit in bathrooms. That seems like a fire hazard. I wonder how many people survive

no. Any memory or knowledge that they might've gained when they were human is not there. they do take on habits that the brain has learned, though. Sir Froggington said: Can zombies talk
