hshfdhs no worries!! im also quite busy these days but i love roma !! her being tested out as a nurturer and despising it is so hilarious but i'll get a reply up either tomorrow or today if i can stay awake long enough! i'm thinking asura's addition to this mission is a sort of 'test run' if you will. what are you thinking with the whole Operation Styx thing :c

IT'S ALL GOOD, take as much time as u need :> thank you thank you though! not a very good first response so i tried to glue everything i could think of LOL, but asura can definitely be a 'test run' and maybe instead of diving into the 'operation styx', we can have a like 'test run' of a mission just to maybe not rush into the whole shebang. i was thinking of the 'operation styx' thing to be like either a successful/unsuccessful main mission, where there is a deep-cover operative or a high-value defector who has been 'dead' to the world for years, living inside a hostile regime and is effectively harming the society/communities/etc. idk, i was thinking about the future and what plot twists could stem from smth like that. or maybe we can do something entirely different? thankyouu! yes, so what i'm thinking is that this is a 'testing of the waters', almost? them seeing if roma and asura can work well together to put them together FOR operation styx or like as a longer term partnership. the operation styx thing is more compelling i feel. also would be cool to explore how they'd operate because complimentary skillsets! :D ooh interesting interesting! high value defector possibly with sensitive information pertaining to the military's interests i suppose? could also be interesting to see our characters gain more understanding of their world outside the military and gradually break down their limited understanding and unquestioning loyalty to what they've known all their lives. i'm down for that! we can definitely take a little side-quest that relates to the main mission in some way, maybe a little raid, like some base or something alike. stealing info and going through stealthily. because i'm sure they'd want to test out between our characters! and i think i might've forgotten, but didn't we mention that despite their beliefs, one of our characters wants to leave that sort of world? like gain freedom and experience life as normal wolves even if they're mutated? if not, i might be tripping otherwise LOL Edited at January 13, 2026 10:04 AM by Cragroot

yess! def something where roma takes the lead. looking forward to seeing them interact hshfd i. genuinely do not remember that. you might not be tripping, i just have shitty memory lmfao. but yeah, i don't see that right now for either of their characters tbh? maybe roma starting to become more curious about the limits of their world eventually, but i think asura is the type to be solely fixated on the mission and nothing else. perhaps that mindless focus is what concerns roma in a way? but hm. i don't have many ideas, you?

no yeah, then i definitely AM tripping smhhh but i'm down for roma's curiosity tbh, she might not be extremely talkative and whimsical, but she'll show it through actions, and to work it out, interact and bond to complete missions. even if it might be forced. so, maybe i can try to make roma a little bit more curious? like she'll try to peel back asura's layers to understand her better? especially if she's kind of the teacher and introduces to a newer place.

yesyes! i think asura may not be curious about the world around her, but definitely somewhat curious about roma. she'll probably end up sticking to her side like a silent, mildly annoying shadow. i don't think roma even needs to be curious about asura per se, just slightly more aware of how small her world is. which tracks considering how she's been out and about much longer.

AND DONE. asura is a bit oblivious but it hasn't killed her (yet) - i'm thinking this is some kind of a pre-mission briefing? then they get a few minutes or so to adjust to each other before being sent out, what do you think? :c either roma's going to be concerned or just bloody annoyed with her - but i look forward to how that plays out!
