I made the blush wing one. (After some difficulty)

So all I'd have to do realistically is just turn them brown. If I don't decide to try and redo some of the poses.

I feel like the elephants might be a bit overpowered since they can one hit your wolves if they are not DH. Meeting 6 at once is my worst nightmare so i started skipping them. Sun bears are also a bit difficult since you can skip them but with having 2 teams it's not a problem for me anymore

I think it depends where you're at, if you have a decent explore team it's pretty easy to take down bosses. My BE training team can take down bigfoot pretty easily but some of the other bosses are pretty difficult to take down with my other team, but it could just be my wolves trying to spite me
In the jungle, my DG team can't take down the NPCs very easily but the forest ones go down fast.

Agreed. I mow through the forest while training except against bears, moose, and mountain lions, and even then it's pretty easy unless there's 4+. But in the jungle, I feel like I'm healing every 20 steps or so, and I avoid elephants entirely unless I really need the food. I think this just reflects how new players are starting in the forest and more experienced teams can enter the jungle.
Because you can get large amounts of mush in the forest, I personally don't have an incentive to go into the jungle except in winter, so exploring seems easy for my experienced teams even though there are tougher opponents available. I also don't usually explore the other terrains unless I'm looking for a specific drop because the NPCs are harder but reward the same as their forest counterparts. Like grizzlies I think do more damage and tend to flee way more frequently but still give 25 mush like brown bears, so it's just better to stick to the forest.

In my experience some of the prey/enemies are too hard to take down even with a really good team (DG/HW/DH) and the mush you get for killing them doesn't make up for it. My main qualms are buffalo, elephants and tigers.

Elephants aren't really worth going after cause they have 400 health each and only drop 25 mush, so you end up spending more on health potions than what it's worth.

Tigers, while they have much less health, they hit for 80 and have a very good hit rate and only drop 15 mush each. I feel like they are on the same level as bears since the sun bears are at times easy to beat than them.

Buffalo are just not worth hunting if there are more than three for similar reasons to the elephant. Lots of health, hit hard and only drop 10 mush. They also have a higher flee rate so it's hard to kill them though a bit easier to catch now with pursue.

Honestly the only things that give me trouble are Sun/Grizzly bears, Elephants if they're in a herd of more than 1/2 and I swear the Water Buffalo flee really easily. I do need to try the new move on them though so that may be th fix there!

It's balanced for the most part, but there are too many easy npcs and no very hard ones. It would be cool if either one per territory level or even one every ten levels there was some type of 'raid boss' battle- something to actually work towards and defeat.

Seems pretty good to me. There's a balance of prey animals that are easy to take on, and bosses are purposefully difficult. It may take new packs some time to get their feet under them but overall it feels balanced to me.

I think it is quite balanced. Some are a challange and some are very easy. I'm still low level in explore so I say what the others say.
One thing I think is a little.. strange? peculiar? is that the starter animals yeld very little (like squirrel). It is in the beginning when one is new that you really need the capital and it can be a bit hard to get into the game. The changes with more cp for new players will probably help a bit
