So, I'm trying to get more involved with the community.
Helping new players seems like a very good way to get involved and make the game a funner place! I was a new player once, what made the game rough? I didn't have any backup or jumpstart! took me years to establish a reputation, friendgroup, and a source of currency!
So what would have helped you? what would help you now??
feel free to comment your thoughts, opinions, and if you're new or not!! Stories welcomed. Poll Question: What would have helped you at the start??Total Votes: 32

Honestly I would love to have a RolePlay buddy. I use to be on here back in the day and had made one really good rp buddy. His name was Ryes, I tried to find him again after so many years but i think he is no longer on here. I am rusty with the roleplaying but i do miss it. Having some more friends would be really nice to.

Definitely with Cypress on this! Wolfplay was and always will be a platform with so many different layers to it. Between figuring out how to play, navigating what was sought after, as well as trying to establish a decent income to purchase wolves, items etc, it was quite the maze. I definitely love how people have introduced others to the game, like with the Adopt a Newbie Project. It even inspired me to do my newbie avatars shop as well, since I remember years ago when I started, having such little mush meant much was off limits, including custom made avi art from people on the site. There's always been plenty of guides around. But to new people, I feel its pretty daunting trying to navigate hundreds of tabs and forums to find the one you really need.

Hello hello! Bouncing off of what Tony said, I just opened a newbies freebie avatar shop <3 I never thought about the fact that personalised avis would be so out of reach in the beginning and I remember longing for one when I first joined on my old account ^^" [Mod Edit: Do not use other people's threads to advertise your own services.] Edited at August 16, 2026 10:37 AM by Ecifircas

This is quite a tough question, I guess everything comes into play here. - I chose guides because it would be nice to have easy and quick access to some information that is easy to locate. I have seen a bunch of good guides in forums but If you are like me and struggle with the forum space, it might be quite difficult for new players to find them. - The first thing I suggest to new players to make good quick mush is explore and quest. For that though you need a decent explore team or atleast wolves to explore with. When you are new you only get 2 wolves to start and quite limited Den space so exploring can be quite daunting. - The game is quite complex to begin with and there is many ways to play the game, so it can take a while to find your place and what to focus on. Maybe another reason why I chose guides, so players can learn that there isn't only one way to play... there is many ways and it's okay to take some time to find your spot. - Of course everyone wants/needs currency as you need it to do so many things on here but learning how to establish a consistent flow of income will be more beneficial in the long run. - Anywho, I think that information to establish your pack in the community and learning how to get a consistent flow happening on moving forward will be very beneficial to most players <3

I got to be honest, there wasn't a lot that did hinder me, I knew what i was looking for and how to get it. I bought cheap high talent wolves and got to work making money so I could get what else I want. I was just lonely for a good while ^^
