Overall Plot:
Its year 3045 and humans haven't evolved so much physically as they have technologically and intellectually. Time travel. Yes, its taken time but WSAFE (World Sciences And Exploration) has taken it upon themselves to create a machine to travel across time. Basically a small group of students aspiring to work for WSAFE, either aspiring Biologists, Chemists, etc, have been sent into this machine to try it out. Of course, scientists know of its dangers. But they'll never learn unless they try, right? The students are transported 18.3 Million Years Ago. The Neogene Period. And geuss what? After a few days setting up camp and researching the wildlife "safely" around them, its time for them to report back. The time machine is found not only torn apart by a travelling group of terror birds, but dragged into a pit of tar. Wonderful, they're stuck here.
