Yeah, from what I've seen of you, Pudding your characters are some of the more decent people in the roleplays. Like, actual people that you would meet in real life and could have a nice conversation with. They have flaws, of course, but their flaws are usually pretty human. Much more down-to-earth.

I haven't roleplayed with you too much, NS, but your characters are usually pretty quiet, or maybe just come off that way because of how much description you do. They're usually very observant, sort of flies on the wall. From what I've seen, anyway.

Anyone have any opinions on mine? I'd love to try out some new character types and I feel like I've done everything.

Yeah, I can understand why you think that Corax. I don't think all of my characters are like that, but I think that's what all of my characters that I've roleplayed with you have been like that.

Yeah, I like the way you phrased that describing Pudding's characters.

I'll describe your characters after I come back Corax

Edit: I think the characters I've seen tend to be more reckless, erratic and impulsive. They tend to be someone you would probably describe as unusual or unique. I'm not sure if I'm describing this well. :/

Oh, man. I consider that to be a big compliment, as I want my OCs to have an strong realistic factor even if they are magical, or mythical. Heck- even if the OC is a animal.

From what I've seen so far, your OC in Nature's Gift was a OC I honestly haven't laid eyes on or really dealt with before, I honestly like that he was eccentric. Your OCs aren't exactly typical, you can tell they stand out compared to all of the other OC sheets in whatever Roleplay it is.

I'm still playing around with character development. I feel like a share character would do good for me because I have this one wolf OC who you could describe as that and she's adored by others xD. I'll have to bring that to my human characters. I just need to take the time and see what personalities I could play best.
I feel like Anastasia is one of my better characters when it comes to development but she could use work

I feel like your characters tend to be a little aloof and assertive. They aren't necessarily grouchy, but I feel like doing truly happy go lucky character or a shy one would be more of a strech for you. Perhaps even trying someone who is uncertain of themselves would be more of a stretch in your arsenal.

i feel like it's really the development that defines a character, honestly. sure the personality will play a big part to that, but from the start to a story to the end, that could be two completely different people.

I feel like I need to work on character development when it comes to OCs in general, but when it comes done to doing so in the moment, I also feel like I tend to over-think how will my character develop. Unless I've been better at character development than I've thought I was, that seems to be the case with most of my writing. :P

yeah it can be quite hard, i'm not the greatest at it. but nor have i really had a story or rp that went on that long to truly see a sort of development (apart from backstories).

I think that's where my problem lies, because I haven't had a RP go on long enough for that sort of thing. Which worries me because I'm making an original story. :')

pudding: neither have i, but i'm hoping one day i will. and with stories, there's always room for expansion upon something as it is your creation after all, so i wouldn't worry too much about it. i think it's also about really getting to know your character as well :P that is why i like to do little drabbles inspired by a RP, dialogue prompt, writing prompt, or something to help me how they would act in a certain situation

It's hard to keep an RP going long enough for characters to really develop, in my experience.
