Just because they're good rpers doesn't mean they can't be toxic. I get there's a need for diversity among characters but honestly, just leave people the hell alone. It's okay to put your views on it out there, but you shouldn't be pressuring them

I also think there needs to be more diversity. I look at my all-white human character things and feel self-concious, even if it doesn't have anything to do with me being racist. It's just that I'm a white female and so I make characters that are apart of my race, but I don't disagree that I should be more multi-cultural.

I also hate wolf-dog characters with a passion, but I don't hate on people who like/have those OC's. I hate when people have characters who are good at everything while also managing to be perfect in any way, so I try and balance my characters. But do you see me putting them down? Hell no

I don't give a shit about how literate you are if you're out here making people second guess every rp decsions they make and suck the fun out of it. That was NEVER what rping was about.

I agree with Glace totally on this Sequin.

The reason my characters are all white is because I am. I wouldn't know how to play any other culture because I don't know them that well. And if I were to play them, the same people would probably end up coming after me for "misrepresenting." So just stick with what you know.

I'm afraid to make a character from another race and make a mistake and get called out. I know you can research but it isn't the same as having that experience. Although, there is a black character I kinda want to make cause he seems badass.

Like I PROMISE I'm not trying to whitewash I've just always bee afraid of making an asian/mexican character and be bad. Literally the only asian character I have is a fucking dog and I don't even thing that can be considered >.<

And ya, that's my big fear as well. It terrifies me because people can be so jumpy and just assume you are homophobic or racist if you aren't like them or mess up a character wrong simply because you aren't them. It's a tough spot to be put in.

And I do think I will give Nadya to Theo. I can age her up for this rp so we don't have an 18 year old with a 34 year old. ;)
