That would get me too tbh. I would never want to write a short story. I had to write a childrens book freshmen year, to say it sucked is an understatement. Even I hated it.

Short stories are too short for my plots, however, books are too long for my commitment span.

My childrens book was highkey long and it sucked really bad. Shittiest thing I've ever written and I blame my teacher XD And yes Nonners, I agree completely lol

I wonder how much my writing would differ, if I wrote for a book rather than a roleplay. I feel like I would spell things out less in a book, because I have time and I am in control. However, in a roleplay, I want to make sure that my hints are taken and recieved.

I hint in an rp, but honestly whether my partner takes things or not is up to them. Typically I try to use subtlety *shrugs* But honestly too each their own. I need to finish my rp plot >.<

Have you seen that in my writing where I spell things out?

Uh, yeah, you're really descriptive, but I don't think I've had any hints to take lol

Good point. I think any "hints" taken have been discussed beforehand.

I already have a perfect plot for my short story and I'm super hyped to write it. And ya, short stories, books, and rps all have different vibes.
