Typically, I'm the same way. Well, I don't listen to Russian music, but I love pop/ rock. The guy I like really loves metal, and at first, I was disgusted. I usually hate Metal, but he suggested this one band to me, and I kinda fell in love XD

My two cousins are metal addicted. They play it as well (One plays the Bass and one an electric guitar. Both are awesome at it tbh.)
