... but I believe I read in the gameguide somewhere that some boosts/defects will be every other generation. I thought chimera was this way, but I've never actively bred them.

Does anyone have a list of boosts/desirable defects that will skip a generation?

I'm specifically asking because I can't tell if GB does or not. Thanks! <3

Unless it has changed, none of the boosts and defects are guaranteed to skip a generation. Any of them can, but they don’t always. Maybe you're thinking of the grandparent update, which made it possible for boosts and defects to pass down to grandpups if the grandparent has it, even if the parents don’t?
